THE UNSATISFIED

Out of the guts and glory of southern underground punk rock culture, ignoring the dark superstitions of the deep south and unbuckling Bible belt USA itself, comes The Unsatisfied; one of rock and roll's most feral, hardest working, independent bands that have prowled the underground of the southeast for years. Like a well-oiled machine, The Unsatisfied explode onstage in the danger rock tradition of bands like The Cult, The Cramps, Iggy and The Stooges, The Clash, The Who, The Rolling Stones, MC5, and The Ramones. As February 2007's Classic Rock Magazine (UK) put it, The Unsatisfied are "a raw feral sound that matches their bruises and scars perfectly. Stooges backbeat, Buckcherry spit, Lords of the New Church swagger. Dangerous dudes writing love songs for hip prostitutes and pyromaniacs." This is the band your mommy warned you about.

A true blood and glitter operation The Unsatisfied toured for many years across the southeast sharing the stage with such luminaries as the Misfits, Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Cheetah Chome (Dead Boys), Dave Brockie Experience (GWAR), the Murder Junkies, Nash Kato (Urge Overkill), Superdrag, Asphalt Blaster, Georgia Satellites, and Nashville Pussy. Even touring multiple times with HBO's most dangerous Real Sex rock band, the Impotent Sea Snakes. Playing everywhere from the hallowed ground stage of CBGB's in New York, to performing at southern skate parks for the underage fans, always serving healthy portions of faith and fire to the faithful punk rock aficionados.

Their third CD, "The Way To The Crumbs" was released November 06 on the indie label Antidote Records and charted in the Top Ten for FMBQ's most added for programmers playlist for radio across the US opening the group up for the first time to over 150 radio stations nationwide. This landed the band in the Top Fifty Most Requested metal band in the US (February thru May 2007), but The Unsatisfied is far from being a metal band. Hard as they are, they're still as rhythmic as James Brown and embody the sexuality of Prince. Imagine rock & roll, tattooed in jazz beats, sweetened with southern flavors, and a dash of rebellion and defiance for flavor. You owe it to yourself to see The Unsatisfied perform; it's like they're paying tribute to the southern spirits of rock n roll's most revered madmen, Elvis and Jerry Lee. Joe Bob Brigg's, who gave a glowing review of the award winning documentary "Ambition Withdraw" which stars the band, calls the Unsatisfied, "hard-driving wild-as-a-bat southern punk rock by the greatest band you've never heard of".

Prepare yourself for the madness and the message of the southern music scene's most whispered dirty secret, The Unsatisfied.
